Projects of NORSA.

NORSA is currently focusing on three areas; Carterville/Newrest in Wellington, De Doorns and Sandhills. We investigated the circumstances in these areas and came to the realization that the establishment of our projects is of utmost importance.

The dynamics within these three areas are as follows:

  1. High prevalence of HIV/AIDS infection
  2. Unemployment and bad socio-economic circumstances
  3. Lots of children who are exposed to these bad circumstances
  4. Large numbers of pre-school children who do not receive any stimulation
  5. Large numbers of children infected/affected with HIV/AIDS and or TB
  6. Large numbers of children who are deprived from their most basic needs, like food.

NORSA became aware of these needs within these communities and started to develop projects to the benefit of children and families in need. Due to the dire need, the project developed very quickly.
